IKECA is an international trade association representing kitchen exhaust cleaning specialists and inspectors of commercial kitchen exhaust systems. The kitchen exhaust industry is growing at a rapid pace, and technology is changing all the time. IKECA has developed both a professional designation, as well as more advanced certification programs to provide individuals with the means to keep on top of the changes in codes, standards and technology. IKECA confers one professional designation and three internationally recognized certifications which demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the codes and standards relevant to the industry, in addition to certifications unique to The City of Boston which are pre-approved to meet the city’s requirements for commercial kitchen cleaning and inspection.
